26/11/2020 · You can see our raised washer and dryer on top of the pedestal stands that came with them. I do NOT plan to leave it this way! This was Phase 1 of our plan. I knew I wanted our washer and dryer elevated somehow. I didn't want to use those pedestals, I didn't want a laundry stand box, and I didn't want just a raised platform.

31/12/2015 · The original washer/dryer pedestals cost around 275 each. So why not IKEA hack it for the same price as one pedestal. My laundry room is 74" wide, and I need it to be 36" deep. I also need more storage for detergent and other related stuff. The IKEA BESTÅ TV unit is the best fit. It's 70" wide and 15" tall and has room for 3 drawers.

22/04/2020 · The inspiration for my pedestal was from a plan on Ana White's site. I decided to change it up and create free plans to build a pedestal for a washer and dryer to fit my needs. I can't get 4×4 posts that are untreated so I created the posts from two 2x4s that were laminated together then ripped on the table saw to 3″ wide.
08/07/2019 · with your washer/dryer across from each other, maybe, if you have the space, you can make each pedestal a little wider, so each one gives you space for 2 baskets, and you could add some shelves along the sides of each machine for even more storage!
12/03/2013 · Washer Dryer Pedestal / Platform with Drawers. Platform (Pedestal) with Drawers for frontloader Washer Dryer. Cheaper than buying the manufacturer's plastic pedestals and more fun to build anyway! The drawers are also much wider and deeper than the manufacturer's pedestals. We can usually fit about 3 full loads of laundry in each drawer.
The washer dryer pedestal project went together great and it's working great! This is the finished project for now. I may trim it out and paint it, to enhance its look.
